And Just Like That… – The Sex and the City sequel series will debut in December.

Better Things – The forthcoming fifth series will be the last.

The Blade Artist – Robert Carlyle is once again to portray Trainspotting’s Begbie, though this time it’s for a tv series where he becomes a celebrated artist and is supposedly a changed man, but that of course won’t last for long.

Extra Ordinary – A tv version of the fantastic Irish supernatural comedy is in the works, with Maya Rudolph and Natasha Lyonne involved in the making of it. The original saw Maeve Higgins’ character able to see ghosts, and Will Forte and Claudia O’Doherty were the villains of the piece, but there’s no word yet if any will star in the small screen version.

The Flight Attendant – Mae Martin is to appear in the second series, where Kaley Cuoco’s character is involved in another murder. “In the second series of the dark comedy thriller, Cuoco’s character Cassie Bowden has sobered up, living in LA and moonlighting as a CIA asset. But when an overseas assignment leads her to inadvertently witness a murder, she becomes entangled in another international intrigue”.

Freeridge – More casting details to this On My Block spin-off are here:

Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show – Jack McBrayer and Angela C. Santomero have produced a children’s comedy show. “The series aims to ignite kindness by exploring empathy, humour, playfulness and imagination. Alongside series regulars McBrayer, Markita Prescott and Albert Kong, special guest visitors include Paul Scheer and Sam Richardson. The series also features original songs from the band OK Go.

How We Forgot To Save The Planet – Is a new documentary from Kieran Hodgson, and is described as “the follow-up to Hodgson’s 2019 comedy-documentary, How Europe Stole My Mum, about Brexit and the history of Britain’s relationship with the EU”, and it will “feature impressions, archive content and sketches and will also star Morgana Robinson, Simon Bird and Laura Lovemore. It has been filmed in Glasgow, where the COP26 climate change summit is taking place from October 31, and is one of several Channel 4 shows marking the event”.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia – Season 15 has wrapped filming, and the first image from the show is now online:

Joe Lycett Vs The Oil Giant – Seemingly trying to  be the new Mark Thomas, Joe Lycett is making a documentary about his taking on Shell for Channel 4. “The channel says: “Comedian and consumer champion Joe Lycett is set to interrogate the troubling problem of greenwashing, a practice where companies exaggerate their green credentials in their marketing output. The new one-off observational film for Channel 4 will air ahead of COP26, the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference, which kicks off later this month in Glasgow.”…On a quest to hold Shell to account and find out more about their business activities, Joe will meet experts in the field and approach campaigners on both sides of the debate, before making a sensational ‘advert’ about their activities and attempting to air it on primetime TV.””.

Lazy Susan – Freya Parker and Celeste Dring’s sketch group have now completed filming on this BBC series, the pilot of which aired a while back and which we liked an awful lot, and it’s now been revealed that the series also star “James Acaster, Lou Sanders, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Jason Forbes, Catherine Bohart, John Kearns, Evelyn Mok, Luke McQueen, Sunil Patel, Shivani Thussu, Ellie Kendrick, Rajiv Karia, Anna Leong Brophy, Laura White and Phil Dunning….The producers confirm: “Freya and Celeste (Lazy Susan) return with well-loved characters from the BBC Three pilot, including Megan and Michaela who ‘don’t want any drama’ and an achingly whimsical French woman, alongside some brand-new creations – a pair of inhumanly peppy Radio DJs, a couple of lads from Middlesbrough – all brought to life with joyful, sharply-observed performances. Expect smart commentary on our modern world and people falling over. Welcome to the world of Lazy Susan – as inviting as a warm bath, as unpredictable as a soufflé. Sketch comedy with heart, soul and just the right amount of weird.””.

Succession – Debuts on October 17th, and a short clip from season 3 is here:

Ted’s Top Ten – Is a new CITV sitcom that “finds Ted Noonan battling the challenges of a new stepfamily, a new school and his own poor decisions, as he tackles life’s problems one top ten list at a time. Starring newcomer Jake Fitzgerald in the title role and comedian Sam Pamphilon as his father Stu, the ten 23-minute episodes follow Ted attempts to win at life and learn valuable lessons along the way, as he creates lists to chronicle his misadventures, such as: Top Ten Ways To Get Out Of Detention, Top Ten Ways To Pull A Sickie and Top Ten Ways To Ruin A Family Holiday”.

That 90’s Show – A sequel series to That ’70’s Show is in the works: “This time, the show will focus on Eric and Donna’s daughter, Leia Forman (you can take a guess who named her), and it’s set in 1995. Leia goes to Wisconsin for the summer to stay with her grandparents Red and Kitty (Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp are reprising their roles), “where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.” After all, who’s Red without a teen to threaten putting his foot in their ass?””

Untitled Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider Comedy – The creators of The Other Two are working on a new series. “The untitled series is described as a dark, psychological comedy set in the year 2000, about a closeted gay teen who constantly dissociates and imagines he’s a famous straight actor merely playing the role. That is, until he meets someone who upends his entire way of thinking. Kelly and Schneider are co-writing the project and will serve as executive producers”.

Untitled Wandavision Spin-Off – Disney is working on a series starring Katherine Hahn, little is known right now other than that it will be a dark comedy.
