Baby Done – Rose Matafeo’s new film is to hit cinema screens on January 22nd. “In her first big-screen starring role, the comedian plays Zoe, a young woman who discovers she’s pregnant. But, acting in denial, seh tries to do live a wild single life before the baby arrives. Matthew Lewis plays her long-term boyfriend Tim, taking a more responsible approach to pregnancy. BBC Christmas Specials – The BBC are going to be airing a bunch of xmas specials including ones for Upstart Crow, King Gary, The Goes Wrong Show, Not Going Out, Motherland, Two Doors Down, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Christmas Fishing and pretty much all of their panel shows.

Big Boys – Dylan Llewellyn and Jon Pointing are to star in a new Channel 4 comedy series by comedian Jack Rooke. “The stand-up will narrate the semi-autobiographical series Big Boys, about the friendship between a sweet, shy and closeted fresher Jack (Llewellyn) and the laddish older student Danny (Pointing). The six-part series, due to air next year, is based on his live shows Good Grief, Happy Hour and Love Letters, and is being made by Roughcut Television. Rooke said: ‘As a kid I‘d stay up late to sneakily watch something a bit “queer” on Channel 4. I‘d ask Dad: “Why does that bloke have his face in that other bloke’s lap?” and he’d grin and say, “They’re just having a fun time!” ‘Now I am thrilled to have my first comedy series with Channel 4, writing and narrating Big Boys, based on the teen years after losing my dad with all the ups and downs of grief, sexual discovery, freshers’ week and making one very special best mate. Guilt – Series 2 of this BBC Scotland is currently being filmed. “Once again written by Neil Forsyth, the second series is described as “another twisting, surprising story which picks up the action two years after the dramatic finale which saw two disparate brothers, Max and Jake face the consequences of their guilt after accidentally killing an old man. Head Of The Class – Another reboot of a dodgy teen school set comedy is in the works, with Isabella Gomez set to star. “Head of the Class is about a group of overachieving high school students who meet their greatest challenge — a teacher (Gomez) who wants them to focus less on grades and more on experiencing life. The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special – is the story of “two queens who set out to create a classic Christmas TV variety show, but just can’t agree on how. New Money – Gabrielle Union is working on this showtime series with journalists Jemele Hill and Kelley Carter of Lodge Freeway Media “The series is centered around Black women who have solidified their careers, achieved financial independence and moved past the awkwardness and money struggles of their twenties. Toast In America – Matt Berry and Arthur Matthews comedy is to return, but with quite a few changes, the first being that it’s set in America, but the second is that it’ll be on the BBC instead of Channel 4. “Mathews explained that the series would see the actor character moving to America: “The idea is that he leaves Britain and goes to Hollywood…Quite a lot is written – there’s five years worth of material!
